Skin1004 Glow Set Review: Brightening Ampoule, Bakuchiol Eye Cream & Clay Stick Mask

It’s been a while since I’ve done an unboxing post from Influenster — the last one was back in 2017 with my Daisy VoxBox Unboxing Review. Since then, Influenster’s format for product testing has changed quite a bit.

Needless to say, I was excited when this box arrived. It was almost time to restock my skincare arsenal, and I’m always curious to try new products, especially now that my skin has been more compliant after battling acne during the pandemic. (If you’re dealing with acne yourself, check out my latest article on how hydrafacials helped my oily, acne-prone skin.)
When Influenster sent me the Skin1004 Glow Set to try, I was excited to put this three-step routine to the test. The set includes the Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule, the Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream, and the Madagascar Centella Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask. Together, these products target brightness, hydration, and pore care while keeping application simple and mess-free.
Here’s my breakdown of each product, what skin type it’s best for, and how it performed.
Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask
The first product in the box is the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask. Right away, the packaging stood out. I’ve never seen a clay mask in stick form before. I love this concept because applying face masks can feel tedious when you need extra tools or end up scooping with your hands. The stick format makes the process simple, less messy, and more hygienic.
This mask blends several clays to draw out impurities, absorb excess sebum, and gently remove dead skin cells. The best part? You only need to leave it on for 3–5 minutes, making it easy to fit into a busy skincare routine.

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask
Best for: Oily or combination skin with visible pores
Best use: Quick pore cleanse and oil control in a mess-free format
Why: Infused with pink clay and centella, this mask stick absorbs excess oil, clears out pores, and calms the skin. The stick format makes it easy to apply evenly without the usual mess of clay masks. Long-term use helps minimize blackheads and balance oil production.
Skin1004 Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule
The next product in the Glow Set is the Skin1004 Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule. I was immediately drawn to how pretty it looked in the bottle; the suspended beads give it a luxe feel. While it’s best suited for normal to combination skin, I personally enjoyed the instant lift and glow it gave my complexion right after application.
This ampoule is formulated with niacinamide, one of my favorite ingredients for managing occasional breakouts, and beads of madecassoside, which was completely new to me. Together, they help brighten uneven skin tone while calming and strengthening the skin barrier.
Tip: Apply a little at a time. Using too much can leave a sticky feeling, but light layers absorb smoothly.

Skin1004 Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule
Best for: Dull, uneven skin tone; normal to combination skin
Best use: Brightening dark spots and restoring radiance
Why: Lightweight formula with niacinamide and madecassoside beads helps even skin tone while soothing irritation. Over time, it promotes a healthy glow and strengthens the skin barrier without feeling heavy.
Skin1004 Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream
The last product in the Glow Set is the Skin1004 Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream. I was particularly impressed with the applicator tip. I’ve noticed more brands making this change, and I think it’s perfect. The under-eye area is delicate and sensitive, and an applicator helps you avoid tugging or being too rough with your fingers.
The cream itself has a smooth texture with ingredients that support elasticity and improve the skin’s overall smoothness.

Skin1004 Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream
Best for: Fine lines, wrinkles, and sensitive under-eyes
Best use: Smoothing and firming the delicate eye area
Why: Bakuchiol, a gentle retinol alternative, works with cica and probiotics to reduce wrinkles without irritation. The cooling applicator prevents tugging, while tapping ensures better absorption for long-term firmness.
FAQs: Skin1004 Glow Set Review & Korean Skincare Routine
Is Skin1004 a good Korean skincare brand?
Yes, Skin1004 is a popular K-beauty brand known for using Madagascar Centella Asiatica, a soothing ingredient that helps calm irritation while improving skin barrier health.
How do I use the Skin1004 Glow Set in my skincare routine?
Start with the Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask (2–3 times a week), then apply the Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule, followed by the Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream. Finish with your regular moisturizer.
Is this set good for oily or acne-prone skin?
Yes, the clay mask is especially beneficial for oily or combination skin, as it effectively absorbs excess oil and clears pores. The ampoule contains niacinamide, which supports breakout-prone skin, while the eye cream is gentle enough for sensitive skin.
What’s the difference between Korean skincare and Western skincare?
Korean skincare often emphasizes hydration, gentle ingredients, and prevention rather than aggressive treatments. Products like the Glow Set are designed to soothe, brighten, and protect skin for long-term results.
Can I use the Glow Set with my regular moisturizer or routine?
Absolutely — this set is designed to complement your existing routine. Just make sure to apply the ampoule and eye cream before your moisturizer so they can absorb effectively.
Final Thoughts: Is the Skin1004 Glow Set Worth It?
The Glow Set is a well-rounded trio that covers multiple skincare needs: brightening, anti-aging, and pore care.
- Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule – best for normal to combination skin that needs brightness and balance.
- Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream – gentle enough for sensitive skin, while still targeting fine lines and improving elasticity.
- Poremizing Quick Clay Stick Mask – a mess-free option for oily or combination skin that struggles with clogged pores.
Overall, this set is a great introduction to Skin1004’s approach to soothing, effective K-beauty with centella at its core. If you’re looking for a simple but powerful routine, the Glow Set is definitely worth trying.
