LOC Method

Ever since I dyed my hair blonde, my curl pattern completely unraveled. As a result, I’m now doing the things I should’ve been doing to retain and add moisture to my hair. Every one to two days I do the LOC (Liquid Oil Cream) Method, and I almost always start with Oil and then Liquid since my hair gets really dry and it retains the oil better if it’s put before the cream.

These are the products I used in my video;

$16.00 at Frizzoff

The Curl Keeper Spray BottleI bought this bottle because I like the way it evenly spritz the water  on to my hair. Any bottle will work just fine but I like the fact that not one part of my hair is more wet than the other and that it sprays enough to make my hair damp not dripping wet.

Castor Oil

I used castor oil because it gives my hair a good shine and it is also one of those oils that’s known to promote growth. It is best to put the bottle in hot water so that it could get a little runny, otherwise it will be hard to put into your hair.

$9.99 at Target

Shea Moisture Yucca and Plantain wave defining lotion

I picked this lotion specifically to target my breakage. It doesn’t weight down my hair which means I could always reapply it.

$11.99 at Target

Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie

I have been using this cream for years, I stopped when I was switching to try new products but then came back to it because of how well it moisturizes my hair.

You don’t have to use these exact same products that I am using, these are just the one I have found to do my hair some justice. If you are just starting your curly hair journey, feel free to try them but I suggest before you purchase new products you use them up before they expire.
